The Rogers | Cairngorms Family Photoshoot

WEDDINGS
Relaxed, Natural & Candid
I get it, posing in front of the camera can be uncomfortable. That's why I won't make you stand awkwardly and smile into the camera.

Photography is about capturing your love story. I will work with you to bring that out into our images.

More than just a photographer
Its not just about the photo taking. I will be your hype girl, dress fluffer, bouquet holder and nerve calmer.
Think of me as an extra bridesmaid. There's little I haven't seen on a wedding morning. It can be handy to have someone around to keep everyone organised while keeping things relaxed.

Why Should We Book You?
Many people don't realise how important it is to vibe with your photographer; we will spend a lot of time together on your wedding day, and it's essential for your photographer to feel like a friend. Building a good relationship with any of your suppliers will make a huge difference on the day, and that's why I put a lot of emphasis on getting to know my couples before the wedding day. By the time it comes along, we will feel like old friends.

Want to get excited over Pinterest boards? YES. Need help choosing suppliers? I can help. Need someone to vent to about the stresses of wedding planning? I'm here for that too. I will be with you throughout the process and there to guide you or offer encouragement.

My job is SO much more than clicking a button for pretty pictures; it's about making you feel at ease, hyping you up, letting you have fun, and helping you bounce off each other's energy. And that's why I love it.

Almost everyone I shoot with says, 'Im not good in front of the camera' or 'I hate having my photo taken', BUT afterwards, nearly everyone says, 'that was actually really fun!'. Forget the traditional "stand and smile awkwardly at the camera while a photographer adjusts every finger to a specific angle" - no one enjoys that. Instead, Ill have you laughing and joking, playing games, telling stories and generally prompting you rather than posing you.

I LOVE my job, and it shines through on every shoot. I smile from ear to ear the whole day as it's an honour to capture these memories for you.
Wedding FAQ
1
Do you offer engagement photo sessions?
I do! In fact, I highly recommend booking an engagement shoot as it's a great way to get to know your photographer and to get comfortable in front of the camera. After an engagement photoshoot, you'll know what to expect on your wedding day. If you have booked your wedding with me or are going to book your wedding with me, couples photoshoots are offered with a 20% discount. Check out my couples photoshoot packages here:
2
How do you handle group and family shots?
This is everyone's least favourite part of the day; your guests want to get back to the bar and don't want to hang around for too long for the formal group shots. Over the years, I have come up with a smooth and easy way to get your group shots while keeping Uncle frank happy. Around 6 weeks before, I will request a shots list for friends and family photos - I recommend including approximately 10-12 images which are usually more than enough to include the most important people in your life. I will ask for people's names, which I will call out in order on the day, meaning there's no awkward confusion about whos in and out.
I recommend taking your group shot /family photos straight after the ceremony before everyone wanders off.
3
Are your packages flexible?
Yes! Get in touch to tell me a little more about your plans, and we can create a bespoke package with everything you may need!
4
Are you comfortable shooting in bad weather conditions?
Absolutely! I actually love the rain! If you are up for going outside, I will happily skip along with you. Some of my favourite photos ever have been taken in bad weather.
I have protective gear for my camera and will ensure you are all wrapped up.
5
Can you work with a second shooter?
Second shooters can be added to any package. I highly recommend a second shooter for weddings with over 100 guests, LGBTQ+ weddings (where two lots of morning prep needs covered) and where partners are getting ready in different locations. Get in touch using the contact form below, and I can give you a quote.
6
Can you provide reviews from past clients?
Yes! You can find testimonials here:
7
How far can you travel?
Almost anywhere! I am based in Fife, Scotland but travel around all the time! 50 Miles from Dunfermline each way are included in all wedding photography packages. Bookings further then 50 miles will be charged per mile. Depending on distance I may have to ask for accommodation costs to be covered. Just get in touch with your ideas, and we can have a chat!
8
How long until i get my images?
You will receive around 10 photos as a sneak preview a few days after your wedding. Depending on my workload and peak season, you can expect your full gallery within 6-8 weeks.
9
Do you offer wedding albums and prints?
I offer a wide range of beautiful albums, prints and canvases. Prints can be purchased after the wedding through the simple platform attached to your gallery. Drop me a message if you would like to preview the store.
10
Do you offer video?
I don't currently offer video; however, I recommend videographers I have previously worked with and can vouch for. Your photographer and videographer must have the same style and approach to working to keep things running smoothly. If you need any advice, please do get in touch!
11
How do you keep our images safe?
My camera has a Duel SD slot, meaning two copies of your original files are written to separate SD cards in case one of them corrupts. After your wedding, I transfer all of these files onto my working hard drive and a copy to my backup hard drive. Theres always multiple copies of your images.
